Why would anyone

well now I know how to get everyones attention...

Ask away guys... ask me why I would sell "cheap illegal counterfeit merchandise"
and why you wouldnt trust a guy like me....

You may be able to buy a ten thousand dollar watch but I cant.. so I bought what I could afford, from whom I am certain is a little chinaman from china selling chinese knockoffs at chinese prices to poorboy americans like me!!

and the quality is what you would expect from a 300 dollar watch!!!

I love the looks of this watch and nowhere esle can you get that kind of design for that kind of price..

I bought the watch that I liked, they sent me the wrong one and they offered to correct it, i chose to not mess with that timetable and ordered the correct watch!

as for you who choose not trust a person like me, consider in your calculations the number of members here that like me, cannot afford the "real deal" and would like to own a design like this... I offered those members something that was offered to me..

in no way did I mislead anyone in saying this was an authentic timepiece..
I made sure to let those who care, know that it is not authentic and was quite sure
any box or paper work with it was also replicated material!

as for the member who bought the watch, Congrats bro!!! I know youll enjoy it as I will enjoy mine when it gets here!! and to the other 10-15 offers i had, Thank you all too!

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!

Sorry for the rant.. lots of statement there to respond to....

You really need to know why people selling knock-off's bothers us? Maybe because the knife community is already awash with people selling China-made copies of expensive knives. We hate to see it spill over on other merchandise, as well. Why do we hate it? Because those knock-off's cheapen the real thing, which several of us have worked hard to buy. A $15 Sebenza knock-off and that $300 fake watch make the real thing cheaper by exposing those copies to the market. I'm sorry if you can't understand that.

I've got some "replica" $20 bills available, who wants 'em?
Can't tell them from the real thing... fool your friends, let them think you've got cash!!!

Selling, buying, dealing countefeit merchandise is illegal. If someone on this site was selling fake Bob Loveless drop point hunters, with the Loveless logo on them, that look exactly like the real deal but were made in China, the community would be in an uproar. How about Sebenza's with a real logo on them from China for $20... would you be proud to own one???

A "replica" with the logo and name of a real high end product in just a fake, illegal, piece of crap. PERIOD!!!! The only purpose in them is fool people, lie to them, to pretend you have something of value when you don't. Like stuffing a sock down the front of you pants and pretending you've got a big d*ck.

IMHO, anyone that sports a "replica" is a shallow "wanna be", a poser.

I'd proudly wear a real $10 Timex before I'd embarrasingly wear a $330 fake Panerai.

For me personally, a high end watch doesn't mean success... it means my uncle died and left me a sh*tload of money.

And... I would guess if the owner of this site knowingly allows members to sell illegal counterfeit merchandise, they too may get into some legal hassles...

There are fake watches everywhere. Getting your panties in a wad over someone selling one here is silly. The seller is completely open and honest about it being not real. If you feel strongly against a fake watch - don't buy one. There are fake purses, fake sunglasses, fake shoes, fake shirts, I even remember fake 8 track tapes. I don't buy fake/replica stuff, but that's me.
I can't believe some of you have so much time on your hands to whine like little babies about this. get a life.

For me, flashing a counterfeit watch would make me feel like a shallow faker of personal status. Lets face it, nothing says success louder than a top end Rolex, Breitling, Audemars, Patek Philllipe, Panerai, etc.
It took me 50 years to finally add a pair of Breitlings to my watch rotation consisting of a pair of Citizens, a Casio and a Seiko.

If you are goig to fake success, the least you can do is fake it with a real hi-end watch!! It sure does feel nice to walk around broke with a $3500 watch on my wrist and a $400 knife in my pocket!!!:D I look like I have a few bucks and generally I do; like $3 or $4 of them, but who knows and who can tell cuz I am wearing a real Breitling!!!

As to the argument that Counterfeit watches are hurting the watch makers, most that buy clones do so because they cannot affford the real deal anyway, so............................................................

agreed..
and in 50 years I will have the real deal! well maybe more like 30!!
I have a few friends now who do own the real deal, (Rolex) and they buy "replicas" so as to not muck up the authentic!

just sayin...

I see what you mean..

but I dont buy fake knives.. I love my Sebenza!! and dont care if china makes a shitty knock off.. it doesnt compare to my sebenza... so i dont worry about...

and as for them bringing down the price.. i would say it raises the price!

i wonder how much time you spent looking at those sites for some sort of leagal action.. lol

so im a poser wanna be who likes the designs of top end watches.. damn.. somebody call the cops...

I have been upfront about the whole thing.. never tried to say it was anything other than what it was..

its not illegal in china so.. i buy... i like.. i no like.. i sell.. i buy again!!

and im not fooling anyone.. They ask is that real.. "Do you think its real"?
--No-- , Youre right.. i cant buy a 10k$ watch..

you all have such thin skin. This isn't a cure to cancer we are talking about, it's a watch. A watch that he clearly stated from the beginning is a fake.

This entire arguement originated not about why someone would buy/sell a fake, but how you violate TOS when you post things on a "for sale" thread.

You don't like replica/fake watches? don't buy one. Don't like replica/fake knives, don't buy them. Crying like whiny little brats on an internet forum isn't going to change the fact that some people like them, and some people have no problem buying them.

I think if you are going to get all hopped up about something there are more important issues out there.

emcarrol, be sure to post pictures of the new watch when you get it :)

Where exactly did you purchase the fake watch? Links? Sorry if I missed it.

Great post bro!!

I will show pics! LOL

:D

The existence of cheaper knockoffs has absolutely zero impact on the quality of the genuine articles. If you are buying only for the appearance of high spending, then yeah, knockoffs hurt your street cred. If you are buying for quality, then it doesn't matter what anyone else carries.
