why you should avoid any Ritter RSK knife

I just wanted to thank the OP for pushing me over the edge and deciding to finally buy a Ritter Grip. I've been eyeing it for quite awhile now but have not up until now made the decision to get one. Thanks again, username!

I think it is cool that this kind of thread always seems to end up doing exactly the opposite of what the original poster intended.

I bought a Rambo knife and when it came, it wasn't as good as the movie portrayed. I tried emailing john@rambo.com and I too didn't get an email respond.

All kidding aside, I'm not sure what happened in between, but the OP went from praising the RSK to saying it's a POS.

I'd comment on what I think of username_5's attempted extortion, but he won't be back to read it anyway, so why bother?

oh silly OP, have you been buying up all the chinese knock-offs from dealxtreme??

I think I'll take a gander over at aeromedix.

i've had a couple of ritter grips and though they are (for me anyway) a tad smaller than what i gen'ly like they have all been fine as far as F&F go, typical BM imho, IIRC i havent heard a single bad thing about 'em,

Perhaps I can provide some closure here. Once there was someone in the office yesterday morning we confirmed that he had bought an RSK Mk1 from Aeromedix.com and it's well within the 30-day no-questions-asked return period. His invoice provided when he purchased and also packed with the knife includes information about their return policy and the link to get an RMA or the toll-free number to call. So far, he's not contacted Aeromedix on this issue.

I would like to thank everyone who has posted in support of me, Aeromedix and Benchmade. When you're in the midst of dealing with something like this, it's certainly nice to know that most folks appreciate that we're try very hard to treat our customers like we'd want to be treated ourselves. Thanks very much for your faith and confidence in us!

Like more than a few others, this thread prompted me to check out the latest RSK offerings at Aeromedix.

I wound up purchasing a very nice pink "pink ribbon" FRN mini RSK for my wife's birthday. I've no doubt it will make a great addition to the two full size RSK MK1's I've purchased previously and consider the equal of any premium production folder anywhere near their price range.

Great knives, great service.
