Whydan is a bad seller liner don't lock the blade !
The Lock Up is almost non existent. the slightest pressure on the top of the blade causes the lock to disengage.
liner was hammered, he dont told me this i sent many emails without response, he will not refund me my money and has done nothing to make this right Bad experience

A hammered liner lock is definitely something that should have been noted in the sellers advertisement!
The condition should be easily noted by any collector, I await any response from whydan, and I have to ask.. Why, Dan did you sell this without saying anything?
ETA: The scratches on the liner, and what looks like a chipped out section of lock that was hammered.
Not that it matters but did WhyDan attempt to affect the repair or was it a previous owner, I cannot see the ball on the liner very well, any chance at better pictures?

Bob Terzuola is one of the great original tactical knifemakers of our times. No way that knife left his shop looking like that.
That lock bar has been peined to try and give the lock an extended life. The scratches on the liner running left to right in the pictures are from filing the lock face to flaten out the contact area. I have seen this done before on a couple of liner locks. That was a particularly bad job done to that knife and replacing the liner is the only way to fix it. You need to get your money back for that knife old chap.
I have ruined a liner lock working with super abrasives (got in the action and wore out the lock up in a matter of weeks).
I sure did not try to fix it with a hammer, and even more importantly, I sure did not sell that knife!!
Hope you get your money back, and looks like another seller goes on Santa's naughty list, and on my do-not-buy list!

i don't know how does damage occur just buy the knife and saw the lock disengage, when i disassemble the knife, i see the hammering liner
if i had knew that before buying, i should not buy the knife at this price

Getting Bob Terzuola to fix it is perhaps a better solution in the end because at least then you get the chance to have the knife you wanted, albeit likely at a higher price once all is said and done. Sure would like to hear the seller's side of this.
looks to me like he took a dremel to it. Whydan, refund the money, and stop dremeling your liners. Whether or not the knife is functional, these kinds of details should be included in a seller's listing. No way it left Terzuola's shop with that hack job.
