Jason, it's beautiful!! I can't wait to receive it. Payment including insurance and 3% has been sent.

Yay!! This is my first custom knife ever! :D:thumbup:

I will take # 6 stone wash and blue micarta scales and red liners

Please send me an email to wilderforge (at) gmail.com with this info and your real name. Also, do you mean blue G10 scales? I don't have blue micarta but do have blue G10.

Unbelievable. Jason, these are absolutely beautiful. I am beyond satisfied. I'm gonna try to get another order to you soon. Thank you so much!

Folks, if you're on the fence about these, just go for it. The fit and finish on this knife is stellar and it is supremely comfortable and extremely sharp, straight from Wilder Forge.

It has a super sharp convex edge on it. I think you'll like it!

I took my XL necker with me on an turkey hunt overnighter Monday. It processed kindling, made feather sticks, notching, and some light kitchen duties. Even cleaned a tom that I dropped. My knife performed flawlessly and the edge retention was outstanding. The handle is extremely comfy and I really like that the spine is squared. I was able to make shavings with the spine to save the blade edge and the spine threw sparks from a ferro rod like a road flare. Thanks again Jason for another great knife.

Hey jawilder, still taking orders for the next batch? Please let me know and I'll email you with the info and what I'd like. Thanks.

I got your info ncanert. Thanks for the great review(s) Wooly. It's always great to see my knives in use rather than sitting on the shelf. I now have 15 orders in this next batch plus six that I wanted to play with that I made up from the last batch. I have just listed 4 of these knives for sale. They can be seen -> http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...0-Neckers-Prototypes!?p=12095429#post12095429
They all have unique handles or blade shapes that I may or may not do again.

Before I can fully devote myself to this next batch I have to finish a knife that I am making for a local charity to be raffled off. As usual I expect this batch to take about a month and a half or sooner unless something major happens that slows me down.

Thanks for the orders and supporting Wilder Forge!

I have this next batch all heat treated and scales/liners epoxied together. The next step is to drill/epoxy/shape the handles, then sheaths. If you have an order in this batch, I HOPE to have them finished by the end of next week.

Hello Jason , I hope our project is with that batch .:D

Sure is, and is turning out to be one bad dude!

I was able to get the second half of the handles epoxied together a couple of hours ago. This is going to be a super busy week at work and home with the kids' schedules but I hope to burn the midnight oil and try to get these finished by Friday. There are 15 in this batch. 14 had been ordered and I will have one extra... maybe even two extra.

Also, for future batches, I will be using 52100 steel instead of O1. I will also offer them in 3/32" and 1/8" rather than 7/64". I'll have to do some testing with my 52100 heat treat before I send any out. I'll keep ya'll updated.

Guys, I have finished my seventh batch of neck knives. I’m sorry for the (again) crappy pictures. I’ll get it figured out one day. I will be making sheaths for these tonight and tomorrow then they will be shipped on Monday. Please send payment through Paypal to wilderforge (at) gmail.com $3.00 extra for insurance is recommended but not required. If you are in Canada then please remember to add $20 for shipping. You can also add 3% to cover Paypal fees but not required.
