Wilder Forge Neck Knives

These are in the heat treat oven right now. I'm looking forward to putting handles on them to see how pretty they turn out

lol, be patient Klaus. They will come. Right now they are all Ht'd and tempered. I temper 3 times at 2 hours per cycle, so it takes a while. I plan to clean off the scale tonight and begin the stonewashing process for those that requested it. I'll also glue up more liners to scales.

I've got 17 knives in this batch, so there will be a few available for those who want one.
 
dont forget to enjoy the holidays too. wouldn't do us any good if you work too much and your wife gives you house arrest :)

Guys, I had to take a break from knife making yesterday to hunt with my brother. Didn't get a buck, but I did get a very nice doe and spent the day grinding and putting up about 45 pounds of meet.

I used my destruction drop point necker to skin it and it did very well. My hands were too bloody to take any pictures, so you'll just have to take my word for it ;)

I hope to get back to the shop after church today.

I still don't have material preferences from a couple of people. Please look at the list on page 4 to see if I have your requested materials down. If I do, then your knife is one of the ones below. If not and there is an "?", then I need more info so I can move on with your order.

These are ALMOST ready to be glued and shaped. If nothing goes wrong, then I should have these shipped next week by the latest.

teclis22, yours will be in the next batch. These are all 3/32 from the batch in this thread

RHoltrig, I don't have any extra blades available right now but will be starting a new batch when these are finished. If you want, I can add you to the next batch.
 
I have seven drop point blades finished. All they need is a sheath, sharpening, and my quality control manager's (<-wife's) final inspection.

The seven drop point with finger choil handles still need to be shaped then sheath, sharpening, and inspection, then they'll be ready as well.

I'm hoping these will be done by Friday or Saturday if nothing goes horribly wrong (I already had one piece of wood snap on me while flaring the handle tubes, so I'm waiting for the epoxy to cure on the new handle)
 
13 knives ready for sheaths and the last one should be done tomorrow. I never got handle/finish specs from two people so their knives can't be made until I hear from them (look at the list on page 4 to make sure you don't have a ? by your name)

Sheaths will be ready tomorrow and these will be shipped by the end of the week. I'll post individual pics so you can approve of your knife.
