I just got home from my trip. A package was waiting. :D What a nice little knife. I couldn't be happier. Is there a way to leave feedback for Jason somewhere?

Just opened mine, and it is fantastic - excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail, it has one of the nicest grinds I've seen in a while. I can't wait to use the heck out of this thing!

I haven't posted info about it yet but I am well into my 4th batch of these neck knives. There are 20 in this batch. So far all blades have been heat treated and liners have been epoxied to the scales. If you requested scotchbrite or stonewash finish, they now have the finish. I haven't applied the finish to copper patina or acid etch blades yet.

I had hoped to have these almost finished by the end of the week but just found out today that I have to preach a funeral on Wednesday, which will take away much of my extra shop time.

We're on the downhill slope, so these shouldn't take much longer. Maybe another week and a half or two weeks at most before I start shipping them.

is it a sign of weak character to sit here and hit the refresh button waiting for pics ?

Dude! How funny, I'm in exactly the same place! I think what happens with this series is that looking at the combinations of material, fasteners, blade finish and shape is really intriguing.

Guys, ya'll crack me up! I had hoped to get some shop time after work but am just now about to leave the office, so no shop time tonight. I'm hoping to get some shop time tomorrow and I'll try to take pictures of what I have already, that way ya'll will have something to drool over. Just be sure to clean up the keyboard when you're done!

I burned some midnight oil last night and got 7 knives ready to be epoxied together. If you ordered one with a scotchbrite finish, here they are ready to be epoxied

In the upper left side of the picture you can see the scales ready to be attached to the other knives when I find the time. The stonewashing has been done but still no acid etch or copper patina. I also need to put together two more sets of scales.

And I found sme time this morning to epoxy them all together and flare the tubes. Right now the epoxy is curing

I really like the color combinations this time. Orange/black, black/orange, and orange/blue are my favorite ones. There is also a pink/black that should look nice.

anyone got a tanto from J. ? He said he is reluctant to do them :/ But i am sure they are great !! Give a feed back please to encourage him :)

I can't wait to get my hands on that orange/black drop point. Thanks for the pics Jason. Looking good .

And here are the stonewash and acid etch blades. I'm still shaping the handles before epoxy. I hope to have them epoxied tomorrow.

Also, here is a photo of my home built rotary tumbler. I built it using the motor and rollers from an old treadmill.

I have 16 of 20 knives ready for sheaths and the last 4 ready to be epoxied together tonight. I'm really hoping to have these shipped out by next week.
