Will Moon "Spindle" lock?

All arguments aside, the fact remains that this axis style lock is being tweaked and "improved" by a highly questionable, inconsistent maker;thats the real problem. This is the last guy i'd want trying to re invent the wheel. His would have 4 corners,by the way...

Even though the thread is speculating about a patent, this is probably the most important information in this thread about the Spindle lock. :) I'm not surprised by this -- the BM 300 is a terrible flipper too.
The only ones that seem to have figured out an Axis lock flipper are SOG, of all people.

This one looks fine to me but the price is too steep:eek: This guy brings up some good unbiased points but I don't think he's thorough knife nerd IMO
Tzvy...that name will bring up a lot of mixed opinions. Definitely a knife collector with an expansive high-end custom knife collection, but whether he's actually a knife nerd (knowledgeable about knives or understands the community) is a subject of contention. I won't detail my own opinions of him.

Depending on the management, they had some good designers at times, and if not for some ill-advised market moves, they would be be a contender still. I figure they are 10 years behind benchmade and spyderco, and if they focus on QC and designs that people want, they will come back around. At least they didn't get gutted like so many other brands.
