Win a free Talonite (r) knife contest

HELP!!!!!
My wife is due with our first child at any time now and she has to pick now to start asking for a knife. Here she is hormoning out on me and she confiscates my beloved Genesis 1 as her own. What's a guy to do?
That's why winning this knife would be a godsend.

Hi,
Not so sure if I should win or not, but I like EDI and I think they have a great business. I look forward to their future knife creations.
Regards,

Because Fennell is cool?

Hmmm... Reason? Because it will be my FIRST Genesis, if ever.

Besides, if I did win that knife, I'll give it to someone "special", which will make it all the more worthwhile and significant.

Then I'll get another one and donate it to BFC for raffling off to the rest of the forumites.

I won't tell you how I've never won anything before- though I haven't.

I won't tell you how I can't afford one otherwise- though I can't.

I won't tell you how I deserve to win- though if you ask me... :-)

I will tell you it would be a bragging point-
no pun intended!

Hi all, I think I should win the EDI Genesis Talonite knife + the second freeby because by the time such beauties start to appear in Holland Europe EDI will probably just have released their improved Genesis Mark 99 controlled plasma knife and Talonite will probably only be found in the Smithsonian Institute along with flint knives etc.
So let the young boy please draw me and he'll get a bow of real Dutch "Haagse Hopjes" (candies).
Best regards, Bagheera

Well, I live in South Africa and means that knive prices are prohibitive (not even to say that one does not get EDI knives here)because of the terible exchange rate of our money (rand) to the US$. For example: a Spyderco Military retails for R1250.00 which equals US$208.00 and to put this in perspective, a steak in a good restaurant costs about R50.00 which is about US$8.33.

Furthermore, if I buy a knife in the USA and have it shipped here I will pay import duties and value added tax to the tune of 45% on the purchase price of the knife.

In other words I would most probably never be able to own aTalonite EDI knife if I did not win one a a draw.

I would truly enjoy having these knives.TALONITE----TALONITE----TALONITE!!!!!Nothing else seems quite right, after you get your hands on some TALONITE!

(Although the Genesis in ATS-34 is pretty cool too--

I should win because I am too poor to afford a really good, cool knife. Take pity on a guy who has a $4 china cheepo.

Why should I win it? That's easy. I mean obviously, I ... Well, clearly you should-- its just that I ... I mean if anyone should win, its -- I'm not saying I'm more deserving than anyone else; its just that... The thing is--

Can I get back to you on this?

Because I love Talonite, waited 7 months for one of Rob Simonich's and have been really pleased with it, BUT; it needs a companion folder. I promise if I win I'll give the regular Genesis away on these forums.

OK, maybe if I post here my KFC entry I will get twice a chance?

Here it is:

If I win this knife I will be the first Filipino, heck, the first Asian to own a Talonite knife!

Plus the fact that I don't have any dedicated left hand folder yet; the fully ambidextrous Genesis will definitely solve this deficiency!

Add these to the fact that my knives average only US$6.00.

Good luck to us all!

I should win because I've got the two best dogs in the whole world, and they love irt when I'm in a good mood (like when I've just won a super knife)!

Just found a link to EDI Webpage. The Genesis is a nice looking piece! If you send it to me it may be the only one in Vermont for what? maybe the next fifty years. This is your big chance, I'm available.

I think Bald (Bob) should win it for the reasons he stated. Without people taking chances on new materials a lot of us would miss out.

Or : I think I should win it because if I do I'll give it to him
