Im attracted to the outdoors because it really centers me to get away for a bit. Plus Ive watched to many cool movies as a kid, so I love to play outside....still.

i love going out because it is an awesome way to relax and unwind. I also go out because i was started as a real youngin from the scouts and continued on afterwards.

I love the outdoors because I enjoy getting out and clearing my head. I now enjoy getting my son out and enjoying mother nature as well.
 
I love the outdoors because it is the last free, peaceful, and non-corrupt place we have! It allows us to clear our minds of the daily hectic chaos we all deal with in some form or fashion and it allows us to reconnect with our true human/animal roots. It is a place our children need to spend more time in and learn to appreciate so a true connection with all that is wild is not lost.
 
I love the outdoors, because it is the only place left that I can get away to some peace and quiet! I also brings back the fond memories of my childhood - checking my muskrat and beaver traps after school!
 
I like to be in the woods because in our high tech world, we ofter forget the basics.

I'm an engineering student. I'm agile with advanced Mathematics, but don't remember how to do a long division. Kind of the same things apply on the bushcraft skills, we are so used to everything that is modern that we forget the basic skills our ancestors needed to survive.

Everytime I go in the woods, I feel a little more like home.

I like the outdoors because most of my life I've lived in urban areas. The outdoors and bushcrafting seem to bring me a level of understanding of how people used to live and of a more rural outlook on living.

I love the outdoors so much because I grew up in a concrete jungle.
 
I have always lived in semi- rural areas, so living in the outdoors is the same as loving the outdoors. I got older and tried living in cities, its just not for me. I currently live in a condo in a small city, consider that and the stress of the job and family......being outdoors is not just a hobby, its required medicine.
Whenever I do get out, (and I am planning on ging overnight soon) it takes a minute...(about 45-60 minutes) and I can feel the stress leaving my body and mind. Just go out and sit under a tree, it helps.
