Win free a "Famous Rob" Talonite knife

Congratulations Mr. Simonich - I haven't seen the new knives in question, but I have always found your designs to be visually appealing. I'd love to win a CUDA Talon to finally get the chance to evaluate a Simonich design with something other than my eyes!

Count me in - my contact e-mail is clblair01@earthlink.net

Thanks,

Matthew

It's about time Rob was on the cover of Blade. he is one of the most talented designer/maker's in the country today!

just e-mail me for shipping instructions! :D

What a great article! My sincerest thanks to Mr. Simonich for sharing some of the public destructive testing results here in other threads as well. While we all know that it really boils down to some good old boys just having some healthy (except for the knife) fun, I still find these kinds of tests helpful. It's really pushed the Raven up to the top of my wants list. Now, if Rob could just start taking orders again for a 5.5" bladed custom version, things would be perfect. Ah, yes, and "Raven" is a great name that even us ole' southern boys can pronounce without undue difficulty. ;)

I definitely would like to win a Talon also. Thanks for the opportunity. My contact is longship@ec.rr.com

I met rob several times at gun shows and Blade show. He really is a great guy to talk to. My contact info is in my profile.
Thanks

Hmm. never heard about Rob before, but I sure know this knide :) Nice peace (once had oportunity to play with it :)

Anyways, Congradulations, Rob!

and always ready to take a chanse to win something nice (mambo@guru.lt)

All the nice things you have done in the past are coming back to you in spades, Rob.

Resistance is futile! :D

Because I'm a large sweaty Swede! Think of it this way, if I win this knife, this will be the opportunity for Mr. Simonich to have long term testing of Talonite in a moisture-hostile environment... ME! Looks like I gotta run out and get me that new issue of Blade so I can see what the hub-hub is about.
Thanks for the opportunity.

I gotta get in on this one!

So we can tease rob, eh? is rob gonna reply himself or have someone else (his daughter) type for him? LOL. remember that chat rob?:D

Seriously, i like the looks of your stuff. nice flowing designs that would be equally at home in a hunting camp or a SWAT guys duty bag!

I loved the article in Blade. (except for the part with Becker's gut hanging over his belt in the background of one of the photos... )

Count me in.

hmmm... First time I knew about Rob's knife is from Joe Chen's webpage, I really love that simple design. No suprising at all to find him on cover.

Not THIS GUY again!

So I go beboppin' out to the mailbox to pick up my latest issue of GUNS magazine and start leafin' through the pages to see the latest and greatest in firearms. What do I see? A bigass article on none other than Rob Simofabich. Same ol' pics of the same ol' knives I see splattered all over this fine forum, but no photo of Rob in the bikini and 20 gallon hat. Big waste of pages in an otherwise good gun rag, IMHO.

Oh well, rant mode off. Tom, I'll be up there bangin' around Tacoma on the 10th. Just hold onto the Talon til I get up there. Drop a line at Velitrius@iwon.com and tell me which bar to meet you at.

As for you Rob, keep up the good work. Glad to see you hit the big time! ;)

The Reasons That I Don't Want This Knife:

1. Any metal that does not rust is not really metal and not worthy of being made into a blade.
2. G-10 is too strong to make knife handles out of, therefore should never be used.
3. Rob is too famous to care about the quality of his knives.

Yes, this is all true! I, K man the knife troll, would never ever own one of these blades.
Come to think of it, the Talonite Blade might come in handy by the stream underneath the bridge where I live.....

Thanks!
