Win free a "Famous Rob" Talonite knife

Talonite is just plain cool, and since I don't own any yet, Count me in! Thanks for the cool contest, and Hey, check out KnifeForums for double your chances!

I have a friend who won one of these contests from Tom and he was nice enough to share the knife with me. I think it's time I repaid the favor.

Thanks for the contest and congrats to Rob,Talonite is very cool stuff. Now, if my Blade magazine will just get here!

Rob you make great knives, but I heard you can get the best moonshine. next year we get drunk at BLADE!!!!!

And I don't care if I win, I want some shine!!!!!

Count me in. Wouldn't mind trying out Talonite.
Looking at Rob's knives is what got me into customs. I don't have one of his customs, though:(
One day, one day...

Pretty much we’ll run the contest until August 15, midnight. Then we copy all the names and put them in the fishbowl and draw one. We do the part about asking for remarks because there are a lot of genuinely witty people here and it is a lot of fun. (Remember the contest where you had to tell us why you deserve the knife more than anyone else?)

By the way, my thanks to everyone for a lot of things.

The knife community is just an exceptionally nice group of folks. They are also very smart and very articulate. This has been a tremendous help as Rob and Camillus (Will Fennell and Jim Furgal) and I have worked to develop excellent knives and sell them as openly and honestly as possible. We figured the best way to do this was to put Talonite knives in the hands of real users. The feedback from the contests has been sensational from a technical standpoint and also from the really nice people we have met. “A good knife is a knife that the person holding it really likes.”

Aw shucks, this is approaching sentimental and real guys don’t do that. Anyway, all you nice folks out there hit yourselves on the shoulder and go “Yo” from me. That ain’t sentimental, it’s manly.

Thanks,
Tom

Even that big ol' hat can't hide that goofy grin :D Glad to see someone who enjoys his work so much. Now, maybe something will come down the pipeline that will give me a siliar grin (hint, hint)....

Oh, and I updated my email in my user profile;)

I could have sworn I posted to this thread last night. Oh well, let's try it again.

Congrats to Bob. I have 6 Talonite blades, but none by "Famous Rob". That would make my collection complete. Thanks for the chance.

Ken

Having never won anything before I would be truly delighted if this could be my first. If so, please email me at wh009@earthlink.net.

Thanks for the opportunity.

Wow, congrats and thanks for the opportunity.

Never encounter a Talonite blade before but I would to try it out. Plus, it looks like a sweet knife. E-mail is Yuk_fei@hotmail.com.
Kewl!!!

I've had the fortunate occaison to speak with Rob Simonich a couple times on the bladeforums chat before I was exiled (long story).
Rob is indeed a fantastic guy and I congratulate his sucess with all my heart.
As for the Talon, always wanted one, especially in Talonite, but my family has fallen on hard times and what with making only $10 a week... a Talonite CUDA Talon clockin' in at some $200+ seems pretty impossible.
I'd love to win, but may the most deserving get the knife (I just hope that's me :))

Contact me at: aromig@teclogic.com

P.S. Thanks for setting up this contest, a Talonite CUDA Talon is really quite a knife to give away.

Oh Rob, Oh Rob you make a beautiful knife
and then guarantee the sucker for the rest of your life
the edge so sharp, man you can handle a grinder
a true gentleman they just don't come no finer
so now it's the cover of the mag they call BLADE
but even that won't help ya get laid

I already entered:p :p :p :p
