I haven't done a contest in a while. So for this one the winner will win some of my coolest wood. Anyone who has used wood from Burl Source on a knife can enter the contest. It doesn't matter if the wood was purchased or came from a Burl Source give away or previous contest.
Next drawing is June 1st. I will be doing a drawing on the first of each month. So keep posting your photos.

The May 1st prize is a block of the 40s Super hard Redwood burl I had stashed #37 MGordon won this block

The April 1st prize is a set of Ringed Gidgee scales from Australia. #29 Burton won these scales

Here is how the contest works.
1. To enter the contest post a photo of a knife you made using wood from Burl Source for the handle.
2. You can enter as many times as you like. Each entry has to be photos of a different knife using Burl Source wood. Make a separate post for each knife.
3. The number of the post(s) will be your entry number. I will use a random number generator to pick the winner.
4. The winner will be anounced on the 1st of each month. This should allow plenty of time to take photos and make your posts.

Feel free to post your compliments on any of the knives that are posted in this thread.
I will start the thread by posting some of the photos provided by some of the makers from the stabilized wood evaluation when I was first starting out here on Blade Forums. These photos will also count as contest entries.

I hope everyone enjoys seeing these knives as much as I do. This is one of the ways I can try to give something back to you guys who made such cool knives. Even the beginners are making some awesome knives.

Those knives are truly a work of art! Almost brings a tear to my eye. I could only hope to have a fraction of that amazing creative ability!

Outstanding

Jeff

Thanks Mark,

Here's a Kershaw Groove re-handled in claro walnut (the redwood in the back is also from Mark).

And, as a bonus, a couple of boxes incorporating Mark's lumber.

No where near the above knives, but is only my first. This is the WIP knife I did, I had some Redwood Burl I was going to use, but Burl source had that nice little beginner wood offer so I used his walnut instead. I also have a redwood burl block from him that I am using on a hidden tang knife but it wont be done in time for a second entry :(.

Those are some beautiful scales up for grabs and they would look real nice on the bushcraft knife I am going to make next. I will be real envious of who ever wins these

Thanks for the chance.
