First off thanks to everyone that has posted I hope this is a fun project that I plan to do every year...

I have made a few updates and small changes:
1. This GAW will end December 31st or when we have used all 1000 Numbers (Which Ever comes First)
2. I will select a second chance number for anyone that has the "RyanW's 2014 GAW" info in their signature, if a second chance number is selected as the winner, I will verify that the GAW Text is still in that individuals signature, if not we draw again
3. Lorien has offered to work up a design for this GAW. You all have input on the type of knife that will be given away by voting in the GAW Poll found >>>> HERE <<<< Please vote if you haven't already, we are closing the Poll SOON!
4. Lorien will then start a thread with the selected knife type in mind asking for your input on design features for the GAW knife... until a design is created. Then I will do my best to create a knife from that design.

Beautiful Knives!!! that Fiddleback Nessmuk is one of my favorite variations of the Nessies!

#713 please !
My favorite knife at the moment is the one I put together as my EDC fixed blade * ESEE made HEST *
It has 60ft of 20lb test spider wire, a ferro rod, 3 hobby knife blades, a trout magnet worm, 4 spilt sinkers, a sail needle (inside 550 cord), 3 fish hooks, & a swivel lead. All secured between the handle scales It also has a lanyard that has 2 washers between the lanyard & the bead to be used to remove the handle scales if contents are ever needed !

Very cool idea for a GAW, I really like how its setup. Thanks Ryan for the awesome chance.

Ill take number 352 if still available.

As for my favorite knife... Thats real hard for me to pick... I guess i have 2...

My all time favorite camp knife and the knife i use more than any other would be my Swamp Rat Chopweiler. Its just the perfect size and weight for me and has an amazingly comfortable handle.

But the knife that i value more than any others is my Competition Cutter from Dan Keffeler. Not only is this the best chopper i have ever had the pleasure of using, but the history of this knife makes it mean so much more to me. This is the exact knife that Dan used to win the 2x4 derby at the 2011 national championships, its also the knife used in his youtube video of the "one hit 2 x 4 chop" An amazing blade with a great past.

Thanks jball, He does indeed make some great choppers. The geometry on this is phenomenal, Me and a buddy nick-named it Pac-Man because it goes through wood with one bite and never stops to digest. :D

I have updated the picked numbers and assigned second Chance numbers to those that have the RyanW GAW Text in their signatures

REMINDER: Make sure you voice your opinion on any design features you would like to see on the EDC / Necker GAW knife >>>> HERE <<<<

Good Luck everyone, thanks for participating, let me know if I missed anything!
Ryan

Thanks Ryan, i added it to my signature, i just wanted to make sure the number was still available first.

Thanks for the heads up... Your second shot # is 918... Thanks for participating in the Design thread as well!

Thanks Jet and rtm... You have any photos of the knives you mention?
