Winner, Winner!! Name that Bone! Yep! Another Giveaway! Added Comments!

I know it generally refers to the bones in the wrist; however, I always liked the term...

Shacklebone

You could use Fluted Bone, as well.

edit

I suppose, if you wanted to keep the soup / food theme going you could use:

Kettle Bone or
Butchers Bone

Okay, I'm done.

Working off the idea that it's made from pieces of left over bone, here are my submissions:

Morsel Bone (sort of ties in with "Soupbone"?)

Lump Bone

(Honestly, there are a couple posted already that are really gonna be hard to beat, but I won't say which ones I think those are... :D)

Alright, one more:

Scratchbone

Edited to add:

Thanksgiving bone ('cause, you know, leftovers :D)

Alright, last one, I swear:

Lagniappe Bone

Thanks for the Contest and GAW.

"Rainy Day bone".
It is still a useful day and still appreciated by some for what it is, but it is not most folks first choice.

On top of that, just like the slabs, the day will have some added "Character".

River Bed bone
Every stone in a river bed is different and often feels just right in hand.

Stub bone
Chip bone
Fall bone
(double meaning here. the season, it's about the changes. Secondly, if it has some dings and channels in it, it will resemble a knife that has fallen)
I don't know if these last two have been stated by now.

The one in picture at left could be "water wave" bone
The others marrow bone or trombone (color and shape) :D

Wow, what a great chance for a fantastic knife! How about Bottom Bin Bone or Bloody Good Bone.

Great GAW as always, Charlie. I always become keenly interested when you start these theme threads, and since it's a #14 Barlow which has already supplanted this year's #77 as most anticipated GEC I couldn't not enter. :)

(If only it hadn't come out on the heels of the #18s, I'd have some more money to burn.... So, an entry it is... :))

I think "throwback bone" or "archaeo-bone" might fit the bill if I'm picking up what you're laying down, Charlie. Something like my "new old XTRA Barlow", which I think may have gotten a castaway slab of bone to finish it off before heading out the door, perhaps?

Good luck to everyone and looking forward to these wonderful Barlows!

Charlie.
Brilliant new/old knife coming up once again. So exciting to see.

I love old Engineers choice of Lick Creek Bone. Harry chose that nicely.

I would like to submit North Cut Bone.
Celebrating Waynorth Cutlerys name.

2, Landfill Bone

3, Ol' American Bone

Edit - removed other choices to keep guessing to a minimum number.

See you soon my friend.
