Winner, Winner!! Name that Bone! Yep! Another Giveaway! Added Comments!

Cool GAW, Charlie!
I wish I could get a fine Barlow like that, but I wish the bone were a little better... Wish Bone!
Or, the handles you posted look like some of my attempts to whittle replicas of jack knives; how about Whittle Bone?

I realize there's a minuscule chance that my suggestions may not win universal acclaim.
So I'll take this opportunity to show my support for several of my favorites from those suggested so far; I think they're displayed in order of decreasing preference.
...
Scrapbone.

Boneyard...bone.
...

... salvage bone
...

...
Castaway bone

... Re-bone.

... Gnaw Bone might work as well.

Another fantastic contest!
I'm not a prolific poster, but this is the only area that I do post. I'd like the chance to name something, even if I don't qualify for the GAW.
How about
Filet Bone? or
Fillet Bone?
Flay Boned?
Flayed Bone?

Or Twice Cut Sawed Bone.

I don't usually do GAWs.

But this one might work.

Hurlbone.

Or perhaps Donebone.

As someone who grew up in and around an "old city", this bone reminds me of the old cobblestones that are dug up during construction projects around New Orleans. Cobblestone roads are pretty hard to come by today, and when you come by a cobblestone, whether it be under layers of earth or in a preserved roadway/walkway, they are always smooth yet undulating and different. They are always beautiful, always different, and not very common. I, therefore, vote for the name "Cobblestone".

Great GAW Charlie and wonderful idea to cover the Lick Creek Barlow with "re-use bone off-cuts". I think their going to be fantastic!
If I had one and someone said, "Hey that's unusual what do you call that bone?" I'd like to be able to proudly say, "Why that's...

Rescued Stony Bone
Roughcut River Bone
Barrel-Bottom Bone

...it's the best!"

I might be considered more an 'occasional' poster than a regular, but I enjoy playing with English also (P.G. Wodehouse, anyone? Or O. Henry?), so I'll try.

'No Gristle' bone?
'Day's End' or 'End of Days' bone?
‘Sav-Mor’ bone?
‘Mor-Use’ bone?
'Culled’ bone?
'Scrap Heap'
'Slender Means' bone
'Scrimp' or Scrimped' bone?

Any of the above preceded by Iroquois, Onondaga, Ninemile, Wallkill, or Allegheny

Thanks for the fun!

Or Dog Bone :)

I don't know why but when I look at that I think of an old ham hock bone so my entry would be:

Hamhock Bone (whilst being clearly aware they are using bovine bone).

Droughtbone
Tundrabone
Draftbone (Draughtbone)
Hopebone
Faithbone
Thanks for another design, always look forward to what you bring!

North Country Marrow Bone

Addition:
I've always liked the connection of Barlows to Tom Sawyer, so how about:

Langbone - in reference to Mark Twain's middle name, Samuel Langhorne Clemens

Potters Bone - Potter's knife: Muff Potter's knife, which Injun Joe uses to murder Dr. Robinson. When it is found by the body, the townsfolk assume Potter did it.

Jack Bone
Spear Bone
Clip Bone
Drop Bone
Sheep bone
Razor bone
Spey bone

Donor Bone,

Although that sounds sort of like they are hobbled together.
Either way, fun GAW!
