This made my day.Temperatures are high today for mid December and the forecast is for significant drop, rain and ice. So we took advantage and went by the river for a walk. There is a working quarry on the river side - big machines, giant piles of gravel and rocks. The kid loves it - filling his own truck, transporting the materials and dumping, climbing on the piles, running around…![]()

I concur. Wish I could say that I chop down forests and cut rebar and wire all day but let’s be honest. I may cut a steak or peel an apple. My knives have opened about 70,000 Amazon packages over the last couple weeks thoughI do believe it is evident that most of use our knives thusly (and if not you, this describes me!).
Listed from most use to least use:
1. Fidget spinner
2. Worry stone
3. Man jewelry
4. Cut tape on package
5. Gratuitous food packaging opening
6. Unnecessary food prep
7. Actual handyman tool/accessory
I hear you! If I had a nickel for every Amazon/USPS/UPS/FedEx package that has been dropped off over the last few weeks, I could afford to buy a GEC knife! My knives have opened about 70,000 Amazon packages over the last couple weeks though.
