Finished some handles last night. 4 new models in this batch. Blades not finished yet, or marked, so these pics are just teasers.

Runt - Beautiful Ironwood over Osage. I hated making this model. But then it goes and turns out fantastic. WTF???

The contrasing color handles you do are simply amazing, very nice work. I like that Runt model, looks really handy.

I'll second that. The Baltic Birch and Paduk on the Bird and Trout going to Tony is absolutely amazing. The Runt also has an awesome looking handle. I'm hoping to get my hands on the Hunter with the Wenge and Curly Maple. Truth be told, if I could afford it (without my wife divorcing me) and some weren't already spoken for, I'd be angling to bring them all home.

:eek:Man they came out fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbup::thumbup:

Specially the one your going to sell me:cool::):)

That runt is wicked also! That would make an awesome EDC

I've just been on a drawing spree lately. Its a broader bladed knife with a blade ~5 - 5.25" long. Woodsman-ish handle. Really came out sweet.

A really sweeeet bunch Andy.
I like the handle on the hunter
Tony is right, the runt will make a great edc.

It is funny. I read the word "Runt" then my eyes went straight to the knife. I thought to myself "I love that!" Then, I started reading and that you didn't like making it. That figures for me to like something that is not easy :D

But, that is a super cool knife Andy. Those little ones are the ones you tend to have on you all the time, and therefore get the most use/abuse. It sure looks handy.

Yea, for some reason, the blank looked like it wasn't going to sexy up at all. And you know how bad a knife looks in glueup, but it did turn out nice. When I take final pics you'll be able to see some of the neato curves on that handle. They really are sweeties.

Ooo, do you have any 'full' pics of that one by chance? Sounds really badass.

Not yet. I've been regreting taking pics of the unfinished blades lately, so the only one I did was the Runt. But I have somepics of the blanks.

You can't really see it in this pic. But you can see some of the pretty curl on that Koa Bushcrafter!!! I love how the Curly Maple liner is really visable too!

That Runt is a really cool little knife. They all look fantastic, but that one really caught my eye.

I knew you'd like that one. Its got a BEEFY handle.

The prototype there has a tapered tang too!!! Woo Hoo!

I was really disappointed when I didn't get The Gaucho...that is until I saw this piece. The handle combo is gorgeous and now to hear that it has the tapered tang as well is just sweet. I thought the new Bushcrafter and the Ladyfinger looked tapered, but I couldn't tell on the Hunter. Awesome work Andy.

I've been holding this model and playing with it last night. I'm almost convinced its my best model. I'm going to cut a run of them at the same time I do the Woodsmen.

Andy,

I could not tell for sure, but if the new Buschcrafter wearing KOA/Maple is not spoken for, I am interested.

That one is for me. Its going to go in a passaround this week in WSS. The first person in the passaround is going to be Talfuchre, he is going to make a sheath for it, and a pattern, and he'll be showing his work here, and offering you guys his work as an option for my knives!!!!

Hank, I have 4 on the bench right now, heat treated, and handles selected. One of them is wearing Koa from that same board, but backed by some gorgeous almost black East Indian Rosewood!!!!!!!! If you want, I'll put your name on that one.
