WIP - Delicioso

That one is for me. Its going to go in a passaround this week in WSS. The first person in the passaround is going to be Talfuchre, he is going to make a sheath for it, and a pattern, and he'll be showing his work here, and offering you guys his work as an option for my knives!!!!

Hank, I have 4 on the bench right now, heat treated, and handles selected. One of them is wearing Koa from that same board, but backed by some gorgeous almost black East Indian Rosewood!!!!!!!! If you want, I'll put your name on that one.

Sounds like a sweet combo. I can't wait to see the other combos on the bushcrafters. I also love the handle combo on the hunter..

Yes! Thats the first knife I've done in Wenge, and I can see myself using it a lot.

Wow, beautiful knives as usual. The handles are works of art by themselves. I must have missed it but the new Runt pattern is awesome but the Bushcrafter is classic.

Andy, have you ever worked with bamboo as a handle material? If your try it on a Bushcrafter I would definitely snag it.

I've got access to a little bit of Bamboo. Old flooring. I need something a little more tailored for knives. Neat stuff though. I definitely like the look of it, and how it finishes. You might see some down the road.

Update is.... I spent the weekend teaching Hannah to roller skate, then ride a bike, and we had company, so I didn't do much else besides that and clean. I'll have to hit the shop hard this week. I feel behind right now.

I don't think anyone here will ever fault you for spending time with family. If they do though, shame on them.

Cool!! :thumbup::thumbup:
You can make knives for the rest of your life. There are some experiences that you have to grab when the opportunity is there.

Well guys, I went by Andy's house yesterday and those new models are tits! I couldn't take my hands off of them! I fell in lust with the LadyFinger as I have been looking for a good solid, lightish hiker and this one fits the bill for me. Able to handle most tasks in the woods and/or hiking but a bit skinnier, although it does not look like it would have an issue battoning. Must have one!

The reconfigured Bushcrafter now fits my medium-largish hands perfectly. The extra length is spot-on. The Hunter is a sweet addition as well, nice belly for skinning and hefty enough to do some light chopping.

So, those are the blades. But as you know, Andy's handles are impeccable as usual. They are like an extension of the hand but on TOP of that, they are georgeous to boot! Good work Andy!

Chris

Get your paws off my Lady finger!!!!!!:grumpy:

;):D
Just kidding, thanks for pretty much comfirming exactly what I thought about that knife:thumbup:

I am getting anxious, but I promised bossman I wouldn't nag him about it. So I am happily waiting for the beauty:)

All of these new knives have me very excited. I have been contemplating getting another Fiddleback for a while. Andy does a great job putting these beauties together. We all need more pics of these though.

Blades finished up, and sharpened, and sitting at the etcher waiting to get marked this evening! Pics tomorrow.

great looking stuff Andy... i love the looks of those handles... the runt and the hunter both look like bad a$$ knives too...

The interest in the Runt is curious to me. I really hated making the little shit.

I think knives like the Runt always end up being very useful. They are great for around the house small tasks.
