WIP - Delicioso

Get your paws off my Lady finger!!!!!!:grumpy:

;):D
Just kidding, thanks for pretty much comfirming exactly what I thought about that knife:thumbup:

I am getting anxious, but I promised bossman I wouldn't nag him about it. So I am happily waiting for the beauty:)

Alright Tony, I'll let her go, but if you find she has been spoiled by another mans hands, I'll take her back!:D

I got downstairs on Sunday and did the finish grinding for 4 Woodsmen, 4 Bushcrafters, 1 hunter.

Also ground on the two choppers that won't ever get sold because they warped a bit on me.

Andy, I have to say that you are one of the hardest working makers that I know. Your passion for your work really shows:D:thumbup:

Some guys barely get their forge fired up in the time it takes you to go to the zoo with the wife and kids, wash the car, reshingle the roof, get 4 blades fired, 3 handles glued, and design a new knife in your line (with drawing done to spec, of course);)

On a happy side note, I had squirreled away some cash for my Woodsman. However, upon a beefy tax return (beefy as in we didn't owe) my wife exclaimed, "Hey, now you can get that knife you've been blabbing about for months!" She's a peach:D
So I took my knife fund and bought a rifle:cool:

Whoops. Sorry. THe two big choppers won't get sold because they warped a bit. The rest are fine. Sorry for the poorly typed message!

What you do with wood Andy is nothing short of being a masterpiece. Those are all gorgeous. I especially like the koa/maple combo! W:eek:W

Its a job now. I can't wait to be able to go full time with it. THen I could justify other hobbies. I just bought a mountain bike to ride with Hannah, and its a bear heading down to the shop on these sunny spring days instead of hitting some tough hills on that thing...

I'll work tonight and thrusday night, and should have this batch into glueup before the weekend. THen I can finish up the woodsmen by Sunday.

Then its trying to get some stuff together for Blade Show before starting three new runs.

Woodsmen
Bushcrafters
Hunters

Man, there is a lot down there. I'll try to get some WIP pics tonite for y'all to look at.

The two big choppers and one of the Bushcrafters is getting Micarta layered with black G-10. The rest are various woods. I know there is rosewood, lacewood, and osage going on Woodsmen. I remember curly Koa in the stack, and Curly Maple too. I can't remember...

Naaa. Really rudimentary woodworking skills. If a woodworker can't face joint two pieces of wood, he really sucks.

Are you gonna post pictures of the choppers also ?

OH yea. I'm going to finish them up and post pics. They aren't sellable. But they're surely good enough for keepers, and I want to test them out!

andy your handles are great bro , i like that new blank shape it looks like a bad boy
