I used to date a girl from Maine. Had to drive up to Bangor.Had a sweet and beautiful GF in Peoria, back during the early days of “service”. Saw my first hockey game there, also. Good times !
Well, I'm off the hook for an hour or so.I used to date a girl from Maine. Had to drive up to Bangor.
I met a dude from Australia named Richard. He said he preferred to be called Dick frumdownundah !I used to date a girl from Maine. Had to drive up to Bangor.
…new a girl like that once ! (just keepin’ Blues off the hook)the 3' bar of steel has been ordered...
I already have the steel for the original plan, so I think I'll make an LC type thing as planned and get the handle figured out more fully. Then I can take what I learned, and make whatever small changes that need to happen so I can improve it for the cutlass
this is going to be a wild ride...
Brother, in retrospect and in a slightly drunken state while on vacation in Las Vegas, I sincerely apologize. Looking back I realize that my comments may have been offensive regarding the example of your brother’s machete. It was not intended. The concept is sounding pretty sweet.
And......
For the record, I wasn't suggesting anything close to what looks as if it was forged beneath Isengard and wielded by some orc hybrid while hunting down halflings. The machete discussion just reminded me of that odd piece of my brother's - I'm pretty sure he is the one who screwed together a couple pieces of a stick for the handle.![]()

Some men won’t waste effort on amending a small slight. I will. You have had my respect since the first post of yours I read about a year ago. I was simply engaging in the conversation the way I typically blunder through life impulsively, excitedly, and sometimes dangerously. We are who we are.
All due respect to your input and much props to Lorien for inviting us all into his inspirational exercise.
Sincerely,
Michael
Good stuff bro. It’s better to have friends than enemas !My friend, you have no need to apologize - I didn't take it as a slight at all! It's an ugly slab of steel
I clarified only because I hadn't quoted anybody really and realized that my example could have been taken as a suggestion which it most certainly was not. I think some folks might be offended by that piece of work but my brother liked that crude ugly shit so the machete discussion gave me some fond memories.
I appreciate you and we are definitely all good.
