They are coming out with a comp-lock Military 2 at some point, which will be really cool, similar to this. A lot of people have expressed their feeling that such a knife would in fact be more of a "PM2 XL" in spirit than a Military 2.I would love a PM2 XL. Like a PM2 with a 4" (or even 4.5") blade that was a little wider. Basically a Manix 2 XL but with compression lock and tip down carry positions. And also in 4V and/or Magnacut.

But yeah, large bladed comp locks are great. Yojumbo being my prime example.
I really hope next year - Sal and co have been pretty quiet on it, but it's been in the works for a long time now. I really do think it will be soon - I think 2020 and all delayed it for sure. But I think folks have seen prototypes - not 100% on that though.Any idea when such a creature would be released?
That... in 4V would be my JAM! Especially if it had a little wider blade like the Manix XL.I really hope next year - Sal and co have been pretty quiet on it, but it's been in the works for a long time now. Mm, I would like this.Native chief w/ compression or frame lock.
I really would, the back lock has stopped me from buying this awesome design... and a few others matter of fact. Not that I don’t trust the back lock it’s just if I can open a knife with one hand I should be able to unlock and close it with the same one hand.Mm, I would like this.
The compression lock is just easy and strong, it has all the best aspects of a liner lock and axis lock. You can use the back to hold and open/close or hole it open. Just a wonderful design. I have been asking for a comp-lock in the Civilian 2 which has been in the works for some time, and while I am not 100% sure if I will get that, I MAY get something close enough in the form of a reverse-S Paramilitary 2, which has not been released but has been seen by folks in one of the Glesser's pockets at some Blade show or something. Sucks, man, those were just discontinued, I stupidly got a ZDP Endura instead of a Stretch, and then the Stretch was the model they discontinued...Original drop point stretch model brought back in a zdp189 blade, peelply carbon fiber handle scales, raised and domed pivot pin, deep carry dark bronze wire clip, and spydercos compression lock.
steel. I was afraid it was going awa

But at least they are keeping the Endura and Caly 3.5 around in the steel. I was afraid it was going away permanently
I think you can still get the zdp stretch 2. I like the size and look of the first stretch model with the carbon fiber scales and zdp blade, if they gave it a cqi treatment and reproduced the knife with those changes and best of all a compression lock. Then wow, that’s a winnerSucks, man, those were just discontinued, I stupidly got a ZDP Endura instead of a Stretch, and then the Stretch was the model they discontinued...

Another thing I was thinking, is that the Stretch 2 is, to me at least, very similar to a "Budget PM2". I haven't seen the blade stock or anything yet, haven't seen it up close, but from the pics and size, it seems very similar to a PM2 in FRN. I'm really thinking of one!I think you can still get the zdp stretch 2.
