WNY Gathering 2012

Boy it is getting close again to our next WNY gathering. This year I am having at my shop and hope to come up with some good ideas for projects. Your input would be great. The dates will be July 28th, 29th and 30th. My shop is located at 6955 State route 20A Perry ny 14530. I have 2.3 acres of land so plenty of room for camping and people. I am right on a main road and easy to get to. I hope to have another good turn out. I have emailed toooj and hopefully he will make again this year. Doug
 
Alright, we gots us a solid, awesome Gathering here.

Ya'll in the area, need to look at scheduling this one. The last two have been spectacular.

BAM- I'm there !!!!!!!!! On Vacation then-WoooooHooooo !!!! Thanks Doug. BTW, i gave that awesome knife you made me to my father-in-law. He is 89, he REALLY took a liking to it, so i told him he could have it.

I hope to be off all week doing the final prep for the weekend. Never a bad thing to give a family member a nice blade. Doug

Did not realize you were so close. We are based in Toronto. I'll see if we can make it down. If it's anything like the Becker gathering we were at last week, this should be blast!

I hear ya. Rescueriley made the trip 2 years ago. Would love to have him back as well as you. Doug
 
It will be a good time as always. I plan on setting up an axe/chopper/saw review station to get peoples hands on some tools and process some firewood. I have an excess of all those tools, especially Beckers.

If you are still up in the air about attending, there will be beer and steak. Good beer and cheap beer. Great steak and burnt steak. Oh yeah, and bacon.

I am not sure how I missed this thread before. I will be taking a summer class when is going on but maybe I'll be able to swing out for a while. That would be great. I am originally from Batavia so perry is not too far at all.

My contribution to "The WNY Gathering", I picked it up today. Still gotta get a lid for this bad boy. I have no doubt you could make 20-40 eggs scrambled in this sucker !!!

It is wider than a doorway w/handle on. Gotta have a way to cook for the herd if needed !
 
haha That is awesome man. I am really hoping to make it out. Drove through perry last night when I took the GF to the drive in. Very pretty country out there.
 
Twinstick that pan is epic. Ya know... you should season that up maybe run a few test rounds of bacon. You know, for science.
