This is it. A 2005 Keystone Tail Gator Toy Hauler. Toys this time will be 3 RubberMaid bins of blades. Mostly fixed blade choppers, but a few folders & some tomahawks & axes. Some wood to chop on plus all the cooking gear & supplies. Oh yeah, you can fit damn near anything in it. It is our Mothership or Basecamp, for doing all kinds of cool stuff. Sorry, we don't tent much anymore & will be at Letchworth State Park the week before the gathering anyways & Doug & his wife was most generous & said they didn't mind. They are awesome ! Thanks

I'm thinkin a forester in scandi. Email me what a finished scandi forester blank would run me. And maybe some pics of past scandi foresters. Also thinkin bout maybe a Camo Master instead

I like the large woodlore style shape but elongated on the forester with this handle. I apologize for threadjacking.

I just made up some fire starter stuff for a gift for those that attend the WNY Gathering (if they want it). A little bundle of 10 pieces, each about 8" long of 100% Jute twine, soaked in hot parafin wax, so they are highly water resistant, yet burn good. Folded in half & rubber banded. Also making up cotton balls soaked in liquid petrolium jelly for fire starter.

Just thought it would be nice, for those that want it.

This stuff works really good !!!

[HUGE PAN]

That thing is awesome. I'm thinking loaded scrambled eggs.

Twinstick that pan is epic. Ya know... you should season that up maybe run a few test rounds of bacon. You know, for science.

Yeah, for science. See, even science is better with bacon.

All,

Toooj is officially in for Saturday July 28th. Probably early afternoon, staying for 2-4 hours. I swapped the AG Russell show with Offical_KA-BAR.
See you all there.

Best Regards,

Paul Tsujimoto

KA-BAR Knives

This is great news. It'll be great to see you and all, Toooj, but I'm having a serious jones for some new Beckers and Kabars. :o

Good thought, Mike. I know have a lot of stuff to throw into the mix, as well.

Yeah, i know, i've been jonesing for a few myself, but my money seems to go faster than i can make it lately. My daughter is looking for her first BK9, to go with her BK17. She REALLY loves the 9, as do i.

She must have a good head on her shoulders the 9 is truly an awesome blade.

Just 2 weeks from today it all kicks off. It looks like fresh sweet corn will be added to Saturday night dinner. I have started my work on the shop projects so it is coming together quickly. See you there. Doug

I can't wait for the friggin sweet corn to be ready. I'm also gonna have a CRK Pacific to put through it's paces.

I just finished up my "Welcome & thanks for stopping by" kits last night. I have 36 of them. Each contains : 5 cotton balls soaked in liquid petrolium jelly/10 pieces of 8" long jute twine soaked in liquid parafin wax/10 strike anywhere matches dipped in liquid parafin wax for (water resistance.) Making these up was actually a LOT of work.

:o Note to self: DO NOT mess with liquid wax OR vaseline when not wearing a shirt !!! OMG did that hurt ! LOL :o

Looking to buy this year, from Toooj

JAB PotBelly
KaBar Kukri Machete
BK9---for my daughter
Sabre ground BK16 (not a fpr)
BK14 handle set

Possibles
Grass machete
Cutlass machete
swag

Looking to trade my BK16 FFG for a BK15.

The shop projects get heat treated tomorrow and then I start tempering. Should be fun to do. Doug

ONLY one more week to wait. It all starts next Saturday. I am off this coming week and will be doing some cleaning, getting the grass cut and general work to ready for the weekend. Hope to see you there. Doug

Back from Camping World, got supplies to fix the "Mother Ship". Think i found the spot & fixed it good. What a wicked storm at Letchworth last night, OMG ! Rolled in quick, winds were like 60-70 mph, rocked the whole camper for about 20 min. Sprung a leak- NOT good. Hopefully i got it fixed with the LAP self leveling sealant. Time will tell. Now, gotta unpack, clean, go shopping, repack & get to Dougs for the gathering. Work, work, work, LOL.

OK, everyone, breakfast is on me for Sat, Sun, & Mon for those that want it. As Never Too Sharp suggested, loaded scrambled eggs it is.

Picked up today
3 pkgs of home fries
3 pkgs of diced onions
3 pounds of Bob Evans Maple sausage
3 doz eggs
3 lbs of shredded cheddar
And of course 4 lbs of bacon, for Captain/A.

Boy I sure hope we get a good turn out or we will be eating breakfast for a week. Thanks Mike. You did not have to get that much stuff. See you there. Doug

No big deal. I like to help out. I like to eat good & i love to cook. Triple win for me. Bonus for those that show up. If we don't get that many, no big deal, thats what freezers are for ! LOL :D

Hoping to give a little extra incentive for people to show up ! :D

We're not getting the big grill this year, so anything you want to bring could be used. Personally, i'd prefer to cook over coals when possible.
