Firstly, I'm a guy, but I want to discuss best fixed blade knives for women. And well I need all of your expert advice.
My wife and I do a lot of outdoor activities, kayak camping, backpacking, survival practice runs, and mostly just for fun. We both really appreciate the value of a quality knife. She likes my BK76 but it really does not fit her very tiny hands, and its obvious watching her work she isnt in full control of the blade the way she should be. I presume its a blade length leverage thing. Not only are her hands smaller, but she just doesn't have that strength and therefore fine control over a tip that far from her hand. Even I at 6'4" 260 lbs strong feel the BK76 is at the max length one would want for doing all around blade work. What magna-cut fixed blade knives would you suggest for me to consider getting my wife? It would need to be something that comes with a waterproof plastic or kydex sheath and has decent knife retention. Bonus points if its a knife I could have custom scales made for her. You know those little details make a woman happy. Thank you all for your help.

I've renamed the thread to be more descriptive of the information you are seeking. The original title was not going to generate much interest.

ESEE 3, 4 or Izula I or II.

Becker BK-82, 11 or 13.

White River M1 or Ursus.

TOPS Backpackers Bowie, Baja 3.0 or 4.5, Cochise.

Something from one of the guys here that makes knives?

Not sure what the budget is but David Mary David Mary is where I'd go. Outstanding blades, made to fit your needs for a reasonable price. Maybe a set, his and hers.

If she's Latina. This model is a smart move. lol

My wife has taken a liking to a Schwarz Overland for the knife stuff she does around camp. Straps it to the waist belt of her pack when out and about.

The X version is even smaller. Don't know about custom scaled but they offer a lot of option as stock.

Some details on the specifics of your wife's knife usage would help get you better answers.
Food prep? Bushcraft type carving? Batoning fire wood? Clearing brush?

We could help more and give better suggestions if you gave us the type of things the knife will be used for and a general size (length at least) of knife your wife would want.

I suspect it is camp cooking chores, namely food prep.
