Woman's camping knife suggestions.

My wife carries a Buck 113 fixed blade in her hiking pack, I think the Mora Companion is a great suggestion for the price, the lightweight design of the whole package plus all the color combos they have. The size and way the knife sits in the hand is fairly neutral and should work for most people as well.

The Helle knives are even lighter, but a lot more pricey than the Mora

I got to say, I find it weird that most people here focus on colour of the handles, not on size and shapes. And the OP's request for Magnacut went also mostly unanswered.

If I had to choose a knife for my wife, I'd look for something that had a handle the apporpriate size for her hands, since the hands of the womenfolk tend to be smaller than mens hands.

OP, I think Danke42 has the best suggestion, take her to a store to try a few designs, seems the best choice in my view. On the other hand, if you want to wow her and want it to be a present, I suggest you go the custom route with the many makers on this here forum, maybe somehow measure your wife's hands and relay that to the maker, you seem to know what she wants and has handled :)
Yeah. I was going to suggest the vitig vs wild in magnacut. But the handle looks super chunky.

If Magnacut ever becomes negotiable then Mora is a great choice. Nothing against the Companion, but I find the Pro series very capable and better in some ways. Shorter blade, but wider. Larger guard but not too large. Compact, light, comfortable and easy to handle. Stainless or carbon, take your pick. If you want something sturdier, then the Robust version. Carbon only for that one. I like the Robust but must say the S or C cut wood a little better.

I prefer the 511 to the companion as well.

I think that one of the greatest problems with choosing a knife for any specific or general purpose these days is that there are just an enormous number to choose from. And I think that is true whether you are on a tight budget or looking to spend a lot of money, and anything in between. Regardless of fixed, folder, small, medium or large. We're spoiled for choice.

The good news is that there is a pile of very low priced options - Mora is just one example - so a novice can try a few of these to figure out their personal preferences after actually using them.

What magna-cut fixed blade knives would you suggest for me to consider getting my wife? It would need to be something that comes with a waterproof plastic or kydex sheath and has decent knife retention. Bonus points if its a knife I could have custom scales made for her. You know those little details make a woman happy. Thank you all for your help.
We both really appreciate the value of a quality knife.

Posters keep getting further from the mark. May as well mention Sebenza and Smatchet now since we are so far off target.

Quality in a knife can be subjective.

Randall Made has several models that could be great for a woman, but they all have really butch sounding names like Trapper and so on .

Butt my. preference for a lighter but capable fixed blade for a woman would be a Chris Reeve "Backpacker". Not too big and designed to be light to pack . . .and made from Magnicut snd Micarta, so rugged enough for Kayaking and such.
