- My recommendation for your wife is the Carothers EDC1.2 in Magnacut or D3V. The size is practical to carry yet big enough to do hard work. The ergonomics of the handle are amazing. The interchangeable handle scales are available in micarta, G10, and Terotuf in a range of colors to suit her fancy. It comes with a nice ambidextrous kydex sheath made by Mashed Cat.
