Wondering what Sal carries?

He was spotted at the Shot Show this year with a Cold Steel Spartan in his pocket.



Not really.
 
The first time I met Sal (NYC Custom show 1996 or '97) he was carrying a Military & could speed-draw that thing w/ terrifying speed.
 
I"m sure he carries a prototype. But, to answer your question, my best guess would be Military or Para Military. Probably with some fancy steel.
He will be here shortly to set us all straight.
 
Word on the street is that he carries many different ones, frequently a prototype. He has mentioned an affinity to the Stretch.
 
He was carrying a Caly 3.5 at the 2011 Shot show, FWIW.

The Stretch has been on my WTB list for a while, cool to hear it's one of his favs. If it's good enough for him, it's sure as hell good enough for me :thumbup:
 
I'm guessing Sal has a knife collection that would dwarf what most people think of as large and I would also guess he carries all sorts of different knives.
 
I'm Sure He Owns EVERY Spyderco EVER Made, Along With Ones That Never Made It To Production And Probably Switches Out Daily, Because He Has Enough Knives To Carry One A Day For The Next 100 Years.

But If I Had To Guess What One He Carries I Would Guess:
Manbug On His Keys, Or Some Sort Of Little Lanyard He Can Hook To A Belt Loop.
And Switches Between His Three Main EDCs The Stretch, The Para2, And The Military.
 
When I met him at the Blade Show 2010 I believe he had a ZDP Delica from the first run with the blue FRN. I believe he has stated in the past that he likes the Military, always has a Ladybug (Manbug these days?), and likes the Stretch and Caly 3/3.5 for EDC. (If I remember correctly)
