Won't ship to N.Y. .... always a bummer :(

He said he would go after any internet dealers that sold knives to his state the he decided where Illegal. I don’t have any money to fight.
I am disabled so I am selling off my knife inventory to make a little bit of money so I cane pay my bills and fix up some scooters that I traded some of my knifes for to help me get around. I don’t want to lose everything and I don’t want to go to jail over it too.

I don’t want to lose everything and I don’t want to go to jail over it too.

I hear you Richard... I don't want you to lose everything and go to jail either brother.

hey before this crap I use to ship to New York all of the time. When I had to stop shipping to that state I started losing alot of money. get rid of him and fix his screw up and I would love to start shipping to that state again.

Strange, I've had BladeHQ ship me knives before, and I live in New York. I don't live in NYC, in fact I avoid most cities like the plague unless otherwise forced. You live in NYC, and next to NOBODY sells knives to people there, not until we get rid of Vance.

'Raylas', I agree with you wholeheartedly re: "not until we get rid of Vance"
But re: "You live in NYC, and next to NOBODY sells knives to people there"
The following are all great companies and dealers I've done business with over the last several years and continue even this week to purchase from: Combative Edge, RMJ Tactical, Cuttlery Shoppe, Knifeworks, knifecenter, xtremeknives.com, Amazon, Ebay and at least a half dozen others.

By the way, as a point of interest... though I have never purchased from them or been there, right here in Manhattan there is the dealer/Knife and custom sheath shop 'MastersmithS' a.k.a. http://www.beautifulblades.com/
Doesn't appear Cyrus "The Great" Vance is intimidating them.

In what way would that be supporting the constitution?

If the state won't support my basic human rights to a knife or a gun then why would I want to ship their police weapons so they can infringe on my rights even more?

It's about basic freedom from tyranny.

I've arrived at a very simple solution.

BladeHQ had the most reasonable (a.k.a. lowest) price for the knife I wanted @ $229.00 free ship., unfortunately they have chosen not to ship knifes to N.Y.C. or N.Y. State.

Simple solution:
The knife is available on Amazon for just $10.00 more which is where I've decided to purchase it without the "No Shipping To N.Y./N.Y.C." hassles.

Maybe I'll even change my mind and go with the plain edge?

I am sorry you couldn't do business with us, but I do want to clarify. We will ship these knives to N.Y. State, they aren't restricted. Our problem was with N.Y.C. and part of our agreement was that we wouldn't ship knives there.

I was going to say, I can't remember the last time I've had trouble having a knife shipped to me in Upstate (that wasn't illegal there, I mean). Glad this got resolved.

I happen to currently live in N.Y. and unfortunately there are are few sites/sellers/online retailers that refuse to ship there.
Just venting... :(

You are living in what amounts to a huge penal colony. Do what I did and move out of that over glorified dump.

Phil, I follow the web site/blog regularly, I especially enjoyed the 'homeless/street beggars' articles.
Living in Manhattan, I see/know on a weekly basis the potential danger/s of 'homeless/street beggars'.
Much respect.

And I will happily continue doing business with them.

1. A NIB discontinued Benchmade 'Rant 517' (Prototype) half serrated black tanto blade.
Purchased and shipped to me from lifeviewoutdoors.

2. A NIB Pohl Force 'Bravo 1'.

3. A NIB blem 'ZT-0200'.

5. A NIB Spyderco all Black 'Delica 4' Combo Edge.

And lastly, I sent a BM 550SBKHGSL w/ Sky Line Camo handle to Benchmade[/B] to swap a SE blade for a new PE.
Cheerfully shipped back to me here in N.Y.C.

All the above sellers/dealers/merchants/online shops etc. I will gladly continue to do business with.
(and at least a dozen more I can think of)
