Can u pls advise what this is
Thanks

It looks to me, like a pattern commonly called a "corsican vendetta knife" - a french folder. There are several makers who produce current models. That one looks like a Zuria brother's piece.

Fresh from the tube today. Wooden Wednesday of all days.
#23 Northfield Cocobolo -beautiful grain.
I have avoided Cocobolo mainly because I don't like the word "cocobolo" for some strange reason.
I think its because of that appalling yet catchy holiday hit tune from the 80s-the one that went "ooh ya ya coco jambo ooh yah yeah":barf:
Gee I wish I had an organised brain.

That is absolutely amazing. This is the reason that I chase wood over everything else.
WOW WOW WOW!!
Congrats on that one!

Today it's the old trusty opinel number 6 that I bought while backpacking in New Zealand several years ago. Performing it's usual task of slaying apples (sorry for the grainy picture).

Great wooden wednesday for me! I received the new companion to my beloved 100-year-old Schrade today.

I had hoped they would be as similar as possible.... darn near twins if you ask me! Except for the caplifter, of course. :)

Wow, that's a lovely old Schrade! And a very nice Radio Jack too of course :)

I just finished up putting walnut handles on this classic sharpfinger copy in 440C @ 57-58. I've never found a better small game knife.

I actually prefer the name Dalbergia retusa over Cocobolo.
This one just called out to me with its distinguished and unusual figuring of the grain.
The 23 is probably at the upper limit of size for a folding knife.
The secondary blade on it is longer than some primaries!
I had my sights set on an ebony #12 but this one pipped it at the post.
A couple of beauties there Lemmy .
and the centurion schrade:thumbup::thumbup: wow.
I can see more wooden handles crossing the ocean in the future.
