Wooden Wednesday - Traditionals only please

That ironwood burl is amazing Double Ott!
A late submission, but this showed up late yesterday; new GEC H10 in 1095 and cocobolo. Showed up sharper than any other knife I have received out of the package, including my Moras.

Here's 2 for wooden Wednesday, 1st up is a late 80s early 90s Camillus Drop Point Lockback with handle some by Sante Fe Stoneworks. All kinds of different wood and stones.

Next up is a 2 Blade LARGE Case 2 blade Hunter made outta Pine. :)

Still modding TL-29s. This is a Queen. I ground the utility blade into a very stout Wharncliffe, partially serrated the spear blade, and scaled the knife in Argentine Lignum Vitae, which is hard as a rock.

Another fantastic TL-29 mod, dma1965! :thumbup::thumbup:
I was impressed the very first time I saw what you'd done with a TL-29, and you seem to be getting even better (and more ambitious) with each successive modification.
Beautiful job!!!

Who sais Opinels weren't meant for batoning?

I split up countless shims today at work, since the moron who did the electrical work at this house my dad just bought set 75% of the outlet boxes 1/2" behind the drywall. It's amazing what some people get away with. It took me about 4 hours to get about 30 outlets and switches flush with the drywall and cover plates on, and only got shocked 1 time!
Hopefully tonight I'll finished shaping the handle, and then I'll be ready for some stain.

Thanks, my biggest challenge is going to be stopping while I'm ahead. I tend to overdo stuff like this to the point the point of no return. I already see myself buying a few more to do stuff to, and of course I'll need to get another one to keep stock for comparison purposes. Ugh, and so it begins...

That's a real beauty Jerry. There are more than a few of Burt's knives I would love to have and one like yours would fit the bill nicely. Thanks for sharing.

Chris
