Wooden Wednesday - Traditionals only please

Best Box Elder Burl I own or have seen.

Reeves Mnandi is a real nice knife but ... it's not a traditional knife. Frame locks, one hand openers, pocket clips and other modern knife design elements mean it's a modern folder, by the definition used in this forum.

A couple 73's in Cocobolo. The bottom has been sharpened and used, the top a fresh arrival. Both so pretty I couldn't decide and fortunately didn't have to. One will prevail eventually.

I am really liking this setup - one knife in my watch pocket and the sheath with two knives in the larger part of the same pocket. ;):thumbup::D

Thanks Jamie, I appreciate that. Im a fan of stamped blades as well and would love to see the 73 with them and a lanyard again. Took a bit to get used to the long pull and nail knick but it grew on me.

I really like the stamped logo, but I'd like to see the blade without the double nail nicks. JMDAO :)

Love that closeup shot!

I forgot it was Wooden Wednesday, but my subconscious must have remembered!

I'm carrying my #38 too, along with this really neat Cattaraugus jumbo sleeveboard whittler:

Awesome knife and picture.

Happy wooden Wednesday

Great shot! I really appreciate the texture that Ebony and Blackwood has. Many of them appear smooth but in the right light the voids show and make the wood a really cool natural material. I have some Cocobolo that is as dark as Ebony but with even bigger voids and it's my favorite wooden knife covers.

Oh, Brett! Nice knife and I would have loved this run to have featured those stamped blades. That one is a classic!

Brett, this knife is waiting for me in my mailbox right now! I have been thinking about it more and more as time goes by and decided I will stop home in between getting the things done that I need to today so I can put this knife in my pocket and go on with my day. I cannot wait to finally have a stamped-blade GEC! Aside from the excellent Cocobolo grain on this knife the stamp is incredible. Thanks again for the great deal, I cannot wait to give this one some pocket time.
