When I went to the knife drawer this morning for today's carry I heard this voice saying "Hey dummy, have you forgot about me?"
So here it is, I really don't know why I don't carry this #55 more than I do, it is a fine knife :D

Chechen Rosewood 38 and friend.

Ooooh.

This ebony 38 isn't being treated gently. It's been carried without regard to damage, it's been dropped, tossed, put away wet but oiled and sharpened......it doesn't seem mind at all.

How lovely.

Say now, ain't that a looker?! Congrats. :)

What a wonderful comparison shot of so many fine wooden covers. Wowzer.

... Now, please skootch the nail nick forwards a wee bit, so it nestles in the foremost curve of the handle, providing even better leverage and no longer fighting the point there where the handle protrudes.

Thankyouverymuch.

:D

There are so many gorgeous knives in this thread!

My collection is small and new, but does include one knife with wood covers:

Forgot to post this earlier, Northwoods Madison Barlow. The bolster is pretty scratched up, but this has been a great user for me :).
