Wooden Wednesday - Traditionals only please

Osage Tidioute Coyote, Opinel No. 6 and an Anza fixed clip handled in petrified wood. I've made my love for the #18 clear already, but the Anza is a remarkable little knife. Fantastic variations in coloration that break down along the old grain. Remarkably secure in the hand for being such a small fixed blade. Looots of CF & CE. :)

Don't ya just love the wood that's been shown here the past few Wednesdays? Thanks to all the contributors! One aspect of wood that I find interesting is the way it changes over time. Here's an ebony 77 new and the same 77 about two years later.
NEW

TWO YEARS OLD

I think it's getting better with age. Darker and grainier resulting in even more character than when new.

r8shell, I'm looking forward to seeing your Osage Orange 18 after the UV spa treatment.

EDIT: I don't open more that one blade at a time any more... to risky.

Very nice :) I've been eying these and this post may just do me in 👍

oldtymer Good choice. Some people may look down on Marttiini as not being 'exclusive' but I disagree, they make a very decent everyday puukko that's far superior to the much vaunted Mora from 'next door':grumpy::D

I've been very satisfied by my Forum Knife 15, Shadow, single-spring, stainless liners, all of which I approve:thumbup:

Some beautiful knives today! I'm doing some yard work and caring my Ebony GEC #16 "Little Indian Girl Canoe" today. I love that name...

Lookin good Ron! If that beauty becomes a user I for one would find it interesting to hear what you think of it. Especially the blade and grip's effectiveness. Thanks for posting.
