I'm startin' to come around to appreciatin' natural wooden scales. Those multi colored wood scales, "Frostwood/Pakawood" turned me off to wooden scales and handles but woods like Bokote, Snakewood, Ebony and most certainly most of the burl woods with their knotty goodness have brought me back, I just have a hard time caputing the beauty in woods like ebony, it just seems to suck the light out of the room.

A little ebony and ivory for wooden Wednesday.

That's beautiful Will! I love African Blackwood, it's a fascinating material and by far my favorite wood for scales.
