I'm going to guess Rosewood. Of course there are quite a few types of rosewood. But I'm gonna stop while i'm ahead. Very nice knife.

Best blade for that frame by a long chalk But annoyingly rare Can't understand why GEC hasn't done more Drop-Points for the 25? Maybe it presents production difficulties?
