Thanks for the kind words on my 77 Barlows GT .Nice, Ron!!Is the ebony 73 new-to-you? I certainly remember your OO 73, but not this ebony. What a wondrous wooden Wednesday notable pair those two knives would make!!
Texas Jack (and dog) is lookin' great, Bill!
Magnificent, majestic, marvelous knife!!You keep posting it, and I'll keep admiring it!
Rousing Remington scout, Leslie!(I sure like the pond that shows up in many of your photos.
)
Congrats on promoting your Bull Nose to a user, Barrett!
So you're finding they use more road salt in MN than in AZ??
Notable pair of 77 Barlows, Harry!I had forgotten about the brown sawcut you have; you also have a red sawcut Northfield Barlow too, right?
Fabulous job of lamb-inating that Navy knife, TK!!
Welcome to The Porch!!Fine pic of a killer knife!
Primo pairs, Jake(x2) & Jeff & Ron!(Jeff, I see that the knife from you has been delivered to my campus mail services building, so I'm hoping I'll get it in the afternoon mail!
Thanks!)
Very cool, Ace!!IMHO, the Texas Jack pen blade "makes" the knife!
Cool couple of Camilluses, deltaboy! Is the one on the left a 21?
I enjoy reading your thoughts on knives, Stuart! Thanks for the positive comments on the ones I posted; RR's gunstock checked bone is incredibly attractive IMHO.
I think I'm attracted to almost any regular, geometric cover pattern: e.g., Victorinox Alox and checkered wood, bone (including some recent GEC #78s), ivory.
Thanks, @Anothername !
Those pancake races must have been thrill-a-minute competitions (that put old-time wrestling to shame)!Your opinion on romance, Valentine's Day, and Pancake Day seems like it has the potential to have resulted in some negative repercussions over time!
Kid care definitely requires lots of energy; I still volunteer in my church's nursery once or twice a month, but I make sure that I serve in the room with the youngest kids, most of whom can't walk yet; I'm much more confident in my ability to keep up with children with limited mobility!
I'm always a fan of Jack Black's Dual Black Jacks Days!
That's a pretty pair of pen knives, r8shell!! Someday you should post a trio that also includes your red White Owl (or maybe you should find an ebony White Owl)!
That's a distinguished duo, Shawn!!
Congrats on a quality quintet, Aaron!!Five fantastic knives! Which of the trappers do you prefer, the 1-blade or the 2-blade?

I knew you had red sawcut 25 and 77, but wasn't sure about a 2nd red sawcut 77. Thanks for the correct info, Harry! Thanks for the kind words on my 77 Barlows GT .
I actually have 2 if the 77 Barlows with Red Sawcut Bone and one 25 Barlow with the Red Sawcut Bone .
Take care my friend . You are probably counting the days now ??????
Harry
Thanks, Shawn. Thanks, GT! Love the shield on that GS Camp Knife. That's an interesting slip for your Pioneer. Is there a story behind it?
Thanks for the history, Ron!Thanks for the compliment on my Ebony 73 and my Wednesday pairing as well! The Ebony 73 is from the 2013 run the OO 73 is from the 2015 run. I bought the OO first in 2015 then I also bought the Ebony later that year if my memory serves me correctly! I got them both on the exchange. Next Wednesday I'll post a duo!

Phenomenal quintet of coke bottles, Stuart! Thanks, GT. Since we are on the "Wooden Wednesday - Traditionals only please" thread (of which I was oddly, but obviously oblivious), I will post some traditional wood-handled coke bottle hunters. Will Power That's a stunning piece of wood. Is it walnut?
@joeradza Alan, that is a mesmerizing piece of burl. I love finding "faces" in wood grain, and I can see quite an angry fellow in your piece.
My Osage handled @JK Knives Bluegill is absolutely singing in this sunlight.
