Wooden Wednesday - Traditionals only please

Thanks Dwight. A good friend gave me a bag of knife parts. In it I found the Keen Kutter barlow frame and a sheepfoot blade from a different Keen Kutter. I had the bocote and a desire to try a rebuild, including some file work. With my friend's coaching this was the result. Not perfect but I had fun and learned quite a bit.

I'll echo everybody else, James. Fantastic!

If I could have seen into Queen's future, I'd have bought up a bunch more of that run of cocobolo!

Happy Wooden Wednesday.

This cocobolo has aged nicely. Darkening considerable and taking on a purple-ish hue very slowly over the years. I loved it when it was new and appreciate it more with each passing year. One of the "gotta hold on to this one" in my collector's pile.
