Landed here today, neat small folder thanks to waynorth waynorth posting a photo of one got me looking to pick one up, glad I did, thanks for the tip Charlie !

I carefully cut a slice of walnut for a filler, makes it look nice and rounds out the handle too.

Not as tough as you might expect Charlie. I've only had the laminated knife for a couple of days, but I favor it as a more complete package. The leather sheath the No. 1 comes with is vastly superior to the plastic sheath of the the No. 2, which IMO is only good for a shop knife.

I applied a couple of coats of Sno-Seal to help the leather last longer. It certainly improved the appearance.

A knife that brings together 3 people whose work I appreciate very much and whom I thank for having been willing to leave their comfort zone to make this project happen.
Blade of 12 cm in san-mai steel by Davide Steri, chiseled fly by François Seychal, smooth spring, full handle in ash burr, assembly by Pierre-Yves Joyeux.
