Wooden Wednesday - Traditionals only please

Hey all, well my last pair of Balisongs (29's) with wood handles posted here a mod advised the knives had to be of traditional design and they were, channel old school Balis.

I'm going to post these as well as they are also old school design Channel build Balisongs. IE Traditional old school design. Not trying to violate rules of engagement , but feel these also fit the bill, and beautiful to behold and share.

These were made in 2004 by Ralph Turnbull. Stainless steel latchless handles, snakewood inserts, Damasteel blade - Odin's eye pattern, 4 inch blade, 3/16 thick, deep belly bowie profile. Weight is 7.35 & 7.40 ounces.

Had to search to find the thread today, we have been a busy bunch!

I polished my Aitor Castor Pequena up with Carnauba Wax the other week, to see if it helped protect the beech handle a little more.

Was it a commissioned piece Paul?

I have some offcuts of bog oak that are asking to clad a wee sgian.

Barry, Your Barkie is soo SWEEEET & WICKED! Is the Conductor also DIB? I've never seen that wood on a GEC and would like to get some folders to match up with some of my other DIB fixed blades.

A custom F1 from Bark River
