Wooden Wednesday - Traditionals only please

Replaced the plastic handle with a piece of olive wood, now qualifies for both Wooden Wednesday and Thrifty Thursday:
Really like that new handle, Tom!:thumbsup::cool:
Have you dried out the olive wood to your satisfaction or does it still rust the blade if you leave it closed overnight? I was surprised when you reported on that somewhere (although I'm no wood expert, so my surprise isn't based on anything like actual knowledge 🤓).

Antonini in Walnut IIRC.

Well-groomed walnut on a variety of knives, Mike & Gus & Todd!:cool::thumbsup:
Walnut for the win! 🤓

The only knife I'm carrying this week with ligneous covers is this rosewood Hartshead Barlow lambsfoot that I call LamBarJack:

Good eye Gary… good eye 😊:thumbsup:
Sweet rosewood there as well 🤩:thumbsup:
Thanks, Gus. :)
I wasn't absolutely certain your Case was walnut, and I'm certainly not a world-class wood identifier, but I thought I remembered reading somewhere that the Case Whalers were walnut. They sure are a nice knife, one of those unpretentious, solid work knives that I really like!:thumbsup::cool:

Wow Todd, that one is AWESOME!!
