Participating this Wed with this old Schrade TL-29 that I removed the screw driver from. Sucker is ALMOST a nail breaker and snaps to attention better than most new knives I have. Keeping it oiled is a MUST. Has a small chip in the edge that Im slowly working out each sharpening session but otherwise its a workhorse through and through.

Love these basic steels, stropped for about one minute on my way out the door and back from barely snagging hairs to shaving smoothly. Hard to beat bubinga like this for under $20 imo
