That is Oak Gary. I soaked mine in Ballistol's for a couple of days because like you said it looked really dry. It may not last but Ballistol's has been an amazing product for me.That barrel knife looks fantastic, Tim!
Is that the oak model? Did you stain the handle?
My oak tonneau knife is great, but the handle has always seemed a little dry to me, and mineral oil hasn't helped much.
Yours really looks dark and rich!
