Wooden Wednesday - Traditionals only please

Stabilized locust burl by malanika malanika . This has seen daily use for all sorts of chores for around five years. Danijel Haramina makes an outstanding puukko: I am in love with this knife.

Rufus1949 Rufus1949 That's much appreciated thank you Bob  The Coco is rich and well turned (it's a kind of pity it goes towards dark brown black with use, others revere this though) I like the Keyhole/Cloud shield, some types wasted a lot of time endlessly deriding it for some reason couple of years back, thankfully they've ceased ;) Blade presents excellently with fine W&T no play etc.

I'm hoping to obtain one of the new releases but not quite sure which to go for yet ( as if there's the luxury of pondering about it 🤣)

Thanks, Will

Here’s some Karelian Birch or Curly Birch. From Wikipedia:
“Curly birch is a variant of the plant species silver birch with a genetic defect that causes the tree to twist on the stem with curls. The annual rings are oriented incorrectly, which gives the wood a fiery appearance. The variant originally comes from Karelia in Finland and Russia.”
