  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Wooden Wednesday - Traditionals only please

I wonder why my rotation schedule has me wallowing in wood this week? Just luck of the draw, I guess.
A couple of Rite Edge budget knives: a rosewood Miner and a curved lockback Barlow with mystery wood.

A MAM Iberica from Portugal, beechwood handle, I think.

Union Jack, my rosewood lambsfoot from A. Wright & Son.

I heard somewhere that Buck is buying ebony from a guitar builder, Taylor, because they actually planted a bunch of ebony years ago so they wouldn't run out.

Or, maybe I dreamed it?

I’m not sure, but I’m guessing that someone may chime in with some solid information for you.

That proves I'm not crazy.

Now, to convince my wife....
"Life" would be mighty boring if not at least a little bit "crazy".

Note: "Crazy" and "Insane" are NOT the same thing.
If "Insane" you get locked in a empty rubber padded room and forced to wear a "self hug" jacket (and possibly a helmet).
If "Crazy" they leave you free.
