Is the Elk Guide modeled on the Nessmuk knife?
It looks great. 😁👍

You can still reach the floor? Must be nice. @ my age the floor seems at least 6 to 8 inches lower than it was when I was not old.
Ide need a reach extender to get that button ... and likely to put the knife on the tow of my boot ... ☹️🤨

I am 57 and I feel the floor getting father away already! And my growing mid section keeps throwing up a blockade 🤣. But I have been stretching to get ready for ski season. I also practice deep squats so I can keep my quads and hips functional for the aforementioned skiing. ⛷️
 
My rotation schedule dealt me no wood this week, but I have this bubinga CEM agricultural knife from Italy in a kitchen drawer and used it to chop vegetables for supper on Sunday. Here it is in a recent shot of some new work boots (not TOTALLY new, they probably have at least 80 miles on them now, but I got them the last week of October):
