Thanks for the compliments guys. Gary all your canoes inspired me to get one. I do want to get one on a single spring. I haven’t tried the wharncliff as a punch on leather but I suspect it would work fine. In Levine’s 3rd Edition there’s an illustration of a Remington Surveyor Jack with a clip that I liked.

I too am inspired by Gary’s canoes! But your custom K’roo is a heart-stopper.

I'm actually not an oak man ... Usually. This stuff is pretty cool though! I did round the edges and have been carrying it since the pass around so if anyone thought this was going to stay a collectable, avert your eyes. I'm running this one in. Its a keeper.

My rotation schedule didn't assign me any knives with cycloid handles this week, but I'm "unofficially" carrying, as I do most days, a Buck 373 that belonged to my father-in-law. I also used the Opinel No. 7 shown below to cut up a potato and some celery as part of supper last night.
