I like when reclaimed wood is used, be it river logs, bog oak, or barnwood. Adds a story and some history 🤓
Interesting that Case doesn't specify the type of wood 🤔
I wonder if its American Chestnut? There was a lot of it harvested in Appalachia during that time period.

I have no recollection of ever reading about what wood was used. I know Case had other patterns with this wood and wished I had picked up a few pieces!! 😞😉
