People have been asking how the tumbler is working out. Since I've been doing a bunch of stonewashing I built this bad boy to keep my neighbors from losing any sleep. 27" cube lined with acoustic foam kills 90% of the sound so I can run that bad boy for 6-8hrs straight.

As I can see, there has been a lot of extra work for the first production, not an easy thing to do, but I'm sure the outcome will be excellent, as I said before I like the red seal, thanks

lol, love the foam box... That's nice that you care about noise issues.. being a good neighbor is important and shows class :) MORE KNIFE PORN NOW :D :D

If these are done in a day or two I might have to opt for a faster shipping option. I REALLY wanna show your work off at the USN gathering...

Some more pics for you guys. Ferric etching the blades before stonewashing and a picture of the pocket clips all cleaned up. Next is putting my maker's mark on the clips and blades.

Upon further inspection of the cleaned up stonewashed blades I wasn't satisfied. The stonewashing had revealed some nasty scratches that didn't jive with the overall scratch pattern I was going for. They must have been some 60 grit gouges that weren't visible after bead blasting them matte. That just wont do. So I went back and busted out my coarse scotchbrite belt and refinished 11 blades in the middle of the night. After re blasting them and tumbling them they look MUCH improved.

Next was putting my TiTAN logo on the pocket clips. I cleaned them with acetone and sprayed Cermark LMM-6000 laser marking spray on the clips. After a quick etch on the laser all i had to do was wash off the spray with a little soap and water. They look AMAZING. Perfect.

See the deep scratches that don't follow the pattern? Unacceptable.
