OK here is an early video! Don't have the detent 100% dialed in on this one yet but you get the idea VERY smooth. Easy one hand opening. No wrist flick needed. This locks up like a BANK, no vertical or horizontal play. None. Also need to add the final polish to the edge. The finish here on #5 is stonewashing all parts with a flamed pocket clip. First 5 knives go out this week! Any questions? OK I've been sanding and polishing for 26hrs, I'm going to bed.

Was getting a little stagnant in here :P

Any word from the first 5? Were shipments sent out and were any received?
What's the word on the next 5? Will they be shipping out this coming week?
Any new pics or vids?

OK this is how things are going. Serials 1,2,4,5 shipped this week. Next week 6,7,8,9,10 are going out. I will email you when your knife is ready to ship and confirm your shipping address. Serials 11,12,13,14, and 15 will ship out the following week. Tuesday I have an appointment with a professional product photographer to get some quality shots of the knives for the website before they ship out. Remember these ship out in small flat rate USPS boxes insured for $1000.

I of course will post up the professionals' photography for everyone to see. New videos to follow so you guys can see some different finishes as well. Can't wait to hear what you guys think when you have them in your hands.
 
Just curious -- where are the heart-stopping head-slapping rave reviews from owners 1-5?

Was curious as well. They may not have shipped until the end of last week and if this is the case they may still be in transit. Some lucky folks might even receive them as early as today!
 
I'll be doing a detailed review sometime next week.
 
I feel like Will would have mentioned in the thread if they shipped? Maybe he is still tweeking out the finishing details!

My photographer canceled on me for today so I had to shift things around a bit for a new shoot Thursday night. Redhat was right I didn't get the first ones out till Saturday so they are still in transit. 6-10 are still going out at the end of this week. I actually have had to do a little tweaking to get these perfect. I ran into an issue last week of the blade contacting the standoffs. Geometrically it shouldn't have happened but the roller bearings combined with a 8oz blade meant that when the detent/momentum grabbed the blade it could over extend a few thousandths and contact the blade.

I spent last week machining raceways in the standoffs for proper clearance. Its these little things that slow you down when making a new design.

Oh and Inlay. I would avoid any head slapping while holding your TiTAN. It could prove hazardous to your health.:p
 
so has anyone gotten their TiTan in yet? I'm patiently awaiting mine. i hope it comes in tomorrow so i can bring it to my cousins wedding saturday.
 
Haven't got mine yet. It usually take 3 days for USPS from Georgia. If it went in the mail on Saturday but didn't leave until Monday then it should be here today. If it isn't here by tomorrow then I'm going to worry. To insure it I think you have to have tracking or at least delivery confirmation. It sounds like no one received any of the tracking information though and that concerns me a bit.
