Will,

I believe that a better explanation in what is the real status of the knives will be good, just to cut out the speculations
 
I got an email from Will. mine is enroute with a tracking number. Should be here tomorrow afternoon. I'll post as soon as I see it. I think he was waiting to ship them until he had a photographer take some glamour shots of each one

1-5 have shipped and will be in peoples hands this Wednesday. I'm still sharpening up and putting the final spit and polish on 6-10 right now. It's taking a bit longer because I have altered the final blade geometry a bit. I did some cutting tests with old edges and they were quite sharp but the edges were 30 degrees inclusive and bit too obtuse to do the finest cutting like newsprint. I have remade my sharpening jig and am regrinding the edges to a finer 24 degrees. All 15 knives will have this edge. A folding knife blade with a .25" thick spine and a flat grind has several advantages, firstly it's strong as hell and secondly it keeps more metal at the edges than a hollow grind. This is fantastic for cutting and chopping tasks but a wee bit difficult to sharpen correctly. Hence the extra time. The higher edge degree raises the grind line of the secondary bevel and leaves a fantastic looking mirrored edge.

I will be done soon and ship these out ASAP.
 
Ok, thanks for the clarification. I wasn't quite sure with the photo session etc. whether things were current or behind or what. I've waited a while already, what's another few days? :D

OK confession time. Before I sent out the first five there was a moment when I was sitting in my truck looking at all the boxes. I picked up the packages and whispered. "They will never love you like I do, My precious...."

Nice! Same finish as I believe I chose. Now if only I didn't live on the other side of the country! If I had some idea where it would be, and if they'd let me have it, I'd hop in the car and start driving toward whatever postal sorting facility I thought I could meet it at and have it sooner! WANT WANT WANT NOWWWW!
 
It looks like it could crush the ZT 0300 that is like a sharpened brick of Titanium and makes the Onslaught which is HUGE look like a regular sized blade. Did the mail person deliver it with a fork lift!?!?
 
i had to pick it up at the post office. the lady behind the counter got a hernia lifting the package. thank you very much Will for making this monster.
